The group has equally expressed its determination to work, relentlessly, towards the actualisation of a PDP Presidency come 2027 and beyond.

The PDP Rescue Mission International said this in a statement on Wednesday by its Chairman,Directorate of Diaspora and Foreign Missions, Bashorun Jones Oladele and its United Kingdom Chairman, Chief Success Chidi in Abuja.

“Our mission here is to reform, rebuild and return PDP to its winning ways by ensuring that in the eyes of it’s members and the public, PDP is seen as a rules based political party, distinctly different from others and fully aligned to the promotion of her constitution and that of the Country.

“Our mandate is to strategically engage all distinguished diaspora community leaders and grassroots mobilizers across the 774 Local Government Areas of Nigeria to drive into the mental psyche of our members an orientation campaign to ensure character, competence and credibility”, the statement said.

Already, an online meeting by the group was held on Sunday to officially declare the it open for critical engagements to move PDP and Nigeria forward.

Hajia Ciroma thanked the Diaspora Community Leaders for such an “amazing and timely interventions especially at such a time as this”.

The Former PDP National Woman Leader reminded the Diaspora Community of the efforts of her late husband, Alhaji Adamu Ciroma who was part of the first 7-man movement that fought for the actualisation of the PDP in 1998 to become rules based Party to bring true democracy to Nigerians.

She noted however that for some selfish reasons, some serious beneficiaries of the PDP are working to kill the same party that made them who they are today.
