Police parades 24 suspects for various offences, recover 15 pump action rifles

Niger State Police Command has paraded 23 suspects who were arrested in Tafa local government area for criminal trespass, thuggery and theft.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Ebenezer Shawulu Danmamman made the disclosure while parading the suspects at the headquarters in Minna.
He said the miscreants were from Tafa, Kagarko, Sabon-Wuse and Hayin-Dikko who mobilized and stormed Tafa LGA Secretariat of Niger State.
According to the CP, the hoodlums vandalized the Secretariat and set ablazed two cars.
They further looted office valuables such as computer, refridgerator, file cabinet, office celing fan, office chairs, television set and office burglaries who were arrested with different dangerous weapons.
Similarly, one Abubakar Adawa aged 65yrs was reportedly missing from his house at Barkin-Sale area of Minna, as one Mizanmil Abubakar aged 29yrs and Aisha Abubakar, the mother and the son were invited for interrogation.
During interrogation, the said Mizanmil (son) confessed to being responsible for the gruesome act of killing his biological father, Abubakar Adawa and buried in a shallow pit in the compound of the deceased.
He further confessed that his mother went out and instructed him to prepare food for the family pending her return, where he served the meal of his father and laced it with rodenticide (rat poison), which the father ate and died before he cut his body into pieces.
