She emphasized that these sectors hold significant potential for creating jobs, fostering innovation, and driving sustainable economic growth in the region.

Dr. Ibrahim outlined the Ministry’s focus on transformative investments rather than temporary measures, highlighting the importance of sustainable programs like the Nigeria Youth Investment Fund (NYIF).

“We are committed to long-term solutions that provide opportunities for the youth to become active drivers of socio-economic development,” she stated.

During her speech, Dr. Ibrahim shared the Ministry’s plans to promote renewable energy and agroforestry in Borno as part of broader efforts under the Youth Enterprise Clusters (PIYEC), supported by the NYIF.

She emphasized Borno’s potential in these sectors, driven by its geographic advantages and natural resources, which could position the state as a leader in green energy and sustainable agriculture.

“Borno has immense potential for growth in renewable energy and agroforestry,” Dr. Ibrahim noted. “By focusing on these areas, we can create a robust ecosystem where youth-led enterprises thrive, driving economic recovery and resilience in the region.
