IBBUL gets geological field capacity building donation

The Onshore Frontiers Nigeria Limited has donated Five Million Naira to Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University Lapai (IBBUL) for capacity building of staff and students in geological field mapping.
This is meant for the IBBU Lapai Department of Geology & Mining to be coordinated by the NNPC Professorial Chair, Professor Nuhu Obaje of the Institution.
This was disclosed at a meeting with the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Abu Kasim Adamu, the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Onshore Frontiers Limited, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Energy Portfolio Managers, Mr. Makoji Aduku.
He said it is the first step towards sustainable harnessing of Nigeria’s hydrocarbon, solid mineral and water resources as well as control of natural hazards and climate change impacts.
Mr Aduku emphasized that the donation to the University should benefit the staff and students of the Department of Geology & Mining with more emphasis on the students.
The Vice Chancellor said IBB University, Lapai is very proud of Mr. Makoji Aduku and his company’s corporate social responsibilities, considering the information at his disposal.
