Police nab 2 notorious shilla gang members in Adamawa

Two most notorious and wanted members of a deadly criminal syndicate terrorizing residents of Jimeta-Yola have been nabbed by the police in Adamawa state.
Spokesman of the Police Command,S.P Suleiman Nguroje disclosed the development in a press release issued in Yola Tuesday, stressing that, based on credible intelligence information, the operatives of the Command were able to apprehended the suspects.
Nguroje said the suspects had on the 4/11/2024 trailed and robbed one Habiba Umar of her Handset using offensive weapons and were immediately intercepted by Detectives of Anti Narcotics unit of the Command.
According to the release, the state Police Command geared up to reactivate its internal control mechanism to prevent violent crimes, Shilla Gangsterism and promote decency and critical thinking amongst youths in the State
“The Command’s bold step is yielding result as two notorious radical Shilla cult groups who were on the wanted list of the command were arrested.
“Those suspects arrested were; Bagir Magaji Muhammad 18years, of layin Chinko quarters and Zaradeen Hadi 18years, a resident of sohon kasuwa, Yola North local Government area.”
