The Amputee Foundation, a Yobe-based Help NGO, has appealed for support for three children injured in a bomb blast.
The President and Founder of the foundation, Mr Tizhe Kwaji, made the appeal at a food outreach on Monday in Damaturu, the Yobe state capital.
The bomb blast victims are aged 8, 10 and 1, he said, adding that “their condition is a painful reminder of the devastating impact of such events on young lives”.
Mr Kwaji expressed concern over the impact of the incident on the lives of the victims, emphasizing their need for education and rehabilitation.
He said, “Education is not just a privilege; it is their key to a brighter future, but we cannot do it alone, we need your support.”
Kwaji highlighted the foundation’s commitment to empowering persons with disabilities through skills initiatives, providing food and cash support, as well as care.
