To enable the Christian communities in Yobe to celebrate the Christmas and new year, the Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has donated 1000 bags of 25kg rice to the members of the Northern Nigeria Christian Political Forum (CNNPF) in the state.
The distribution was in line with the policy of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led APC administration aimed at reducing the economic hardship of the current situation in the country.
When addressing journalists at the COCIN Church in Potiskum, a member of the Christian Northern Nigeria Political Forum (CNNPF), Dr.Yahaya Galo, said, “this is an exercise from the office of the wife of president of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu where she gave an allocation for Christians in northern Nigeria to celebrate Christmas.
“The First Lady and wife of the President, donated 1000 bags of 25kg of rice to all Christians in Yobe state regardless of the person’s denomination.
“We appreciate Senator Tinubu for this kind gesture and we pray that God Almighty will bless her.”
