As part of effort to bridge the gap in education sector, the Birnin Kudu local government chairman Muhammad Uba Builder, employed 340 N.C.E. holders to contribute as classrooms teachers.
This was announced by the chairman while delivering his speech during the celebration of one hundred days in office as chairman of Birnin Kudu local government area.
He maintained that, his administration also procured six motorcycles for six Special Assistants to monitor both basic and higher education effectively and ensure that schools received the attention they deserve, adding that, the newly created GGASS Bkudu was renovated to create a conducive learning environment for future leaders.
While speaking on empowerment, the chairman who described women empowerment as essential for the growth of any community said, his administration supported 130 women across various fields through small-scale and medium assistance programs.
“By investing in their skills and businesses, we are not just helping them; we are uplifting entire families and, by extension, our community”, he stated.
