The South-South Alliance for Prosperity (SSAP) has called on political actors, civil society groups, and Nigerian voters to unite behind a burgeoning partnership between Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, and former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, as a potential solution to the nation’s pressing challenges.
In a statement released on Thursday, SSAP Chairman Ebok John described the alliance as a transformative force capable of reshaping Nigeria’s political landscape.
“We believe that this partnership has the potential to redefine Nigeria’s political narrative and inspire a generation eager for change,” John said.
“As we progress, it is vital that we remain vigilant and engaged, ensuring our leaders honour their commitments.”
The SSAP expressed its readiness to back the coalition, pledging to work towards a united and prosperous Nigeria.
“We urge all Nigerians to seize this moment of hope and possibility as we collectively strive for a brighter future for our beloved nation,” the statement added.
“This collaboration is not just a political strategy; it represents a convergence of ideals that places the welfare of Nigerians at its core,” John noted.
