Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani has urged all Muslims in the State to use the occasion of the Eid-el-Fitr to offer prayers for the continued peace, progress, and development of the State and the country at large.
This was contained in a statement signed by him to felicitate with the Muslim community on the conclusion of the Ramadan fasting.
Governor Uba Sani also admonished the Muslim community to use the Eid-el-Fitr period to increase charity and generosity, sharing food, love, time, and respect with the poor and needy.
According to him, these are challenging times, saying the State has made progress but assured to rededicate himself and his administration to the service of the people.
We must, therefore, pray fervently to Almighty Allah to guide, protect, and strengthen us.
“As your Governor, I reaffirm my administration’s commitment to the transformation of the rural areas, upgrading of urban infrastructure, especially in areas inhabited by the urban poor, security, economic revitalization, human capital development, and youth and women empowerment.
“ Our vision is to build a Kaduna State where all communities live and thrive together in harmony.
“I urge us to remember our country and dear President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR in prayers.
“May the Almighty Allah strengthen him as he consolidates on his bold and courageous economic reforms geared towards resetting Nigeria and bringing back the era of prosperity.”
