Barring last minute change of plans, an All Progressives Congress national leader, General Muhammadu Buhari, will today lead the party’s stalwarts including its National Chairman, Chief John Odigie Oyegun and governors on its platform on a peaceful solidarity protest in Lafia against the planned impeachment of the Nasarawa state governor, Alhaji Tanko Al-makura, by the state Assembly.

It was learnt that the protests to draw the attention of the international community to the trend where governors on the platform of the opposition APC are being allegedly targeted for removal by the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Al-makura is Buhari’s political godson who defeated the PDP’s candidate in 2011 but had the opposition PDP members in the state Assembly.
