Chairman, Ulama’u Council of Jama’atu Izalatul Bid’a Wa’ikamatis Sunnah, Sheikh Sani Yahya Jingir, has called on Nigerians to be watchful come 2015, saying that people should not allow election riggers to manipulate the election.

Jingir, who  made the call during a Ramadan lecture organized by the youth wing of the group in Jos, noted that the time has come when people should be awakened to do everything possible to prevent riggers from changing the results from the upcoming election.

“I am calling on Nigerians to be watchful come 2015. Enough is enough. We are tired of what is happening in this country. In the next election, I urged people to come out and protect their votes so that the riggers would find it difficult to manipulate our election because we have known our rights” the Muslim cleric said.

He however called for togetherness based on truth among Muslims, urging the people to unite themselves as this, he said, was the only way to move the religion ahead. He further called on the people to be peaceful and show love for one another, adding that people should always fear Allah in all their actions.
