The Chairman, Board of Trustees of Eckankar, a religious organization in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr. Eteng Out, has enjoined citizens to increased their love and tolerance for one another ,irrespective of their religious beliefs or ethnic background.
He urged people to live selfless life and share what they have with their neighbours as part of love for the betterment of the society.
Otu, who is also one of Eckankar’s clergymen made the call in an interview with People’s Daily during a workshop organized for its members with the theme: “Light and Sound, the Wonders of God,” in Gwagwalada.
He noted that for one to be successful in life, the God’s laid down guidelines should be obeyed at all times, as according to him, God is the only solution to all problems faced by human beings.
He therefore appealed to citizens to always exhibit good conducts in any society they live, pointing out that God accommodates good conducts and patient.
Furthermore, the cleric who was the guest speaker at the occasion, however, called on the government to give priority attention to the needs of its citizens, while advising the followers to criticize less of their leaders.
