Damagum, Bauchi Gov visit shot PDP candidate for Anambra guber election

The acting National Chairman of the main opposition party in Nigeria, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Amb. Umar Iliya Damagum has visited the Anambra PDP Gubernatorial Candidate, Amb. Jude Ezenwafor, who was recently ambushed and shot at by assailants, at the hospital in Abuja.

Amb. Jude Ezenwafor, the PDP Guber candidate in Anambra State for the upcoming November 8, 2025, governorship election, got attacked and his life endangered by the bullet wounds of the gunmen who ambushed and opened fire on him in Abuja, while he was returning from an appointment.

The acting National Chairman, in company with the Executive Governor of Bauchi State and chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, Senator Bala Muhammed, and the Speaker of Bauchi State, represented the PDP leadership.

The delegation was deeply saddened by the ugly incident and wished the party candidate, Amb. Ezewafor, a quick recovery.

The delegation, according to Nuru Shehu Jos, Special Adviser Media and Communications to the Acting National Chairman, equally prayed to God Almighty to avail our candidate love and support during this time.
