The Adamawa State Government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with two companies; A4&T Power Solutions Limited and Sparrow Mobility Limited, to boost electricity supply and modernize transportation in the state.
Signing of the contractual agreement took place at Government House, Yola on Monday.
Speaking at the event, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, described the deals as a major step toward economic growth, industrial transformation, and better living standards.
He assured investors of full government support.
Governor Fintiri urged the contractors to adhere strictly to the contractual specifications and to deliver at the right time as agreed, stressing that reliable electricity will drive industries, agriculture, and job creation.
Accordingly, the first agreement was with A4&T Power Solutions Limited which will generate and distribute power across the state while the second leg of the contract was with Sparrow Mobility Limited for the assembly and use of electric motorcycles and tricycles will provide safer transport, reduce emissions, and create jobs for youths.
