According to him, President Tinubu means well for the country, especially the youths whom he described as the leaders of tomorrow, adding it is only in the overall interest of the country to support him to be re-elected.

“Our overall objective which is clearly spelt out as our target is to mobilize 6 million votes for Mr. President, come 2027. We want to ensure that our party’s candidate wins the election with wide margin.

“All we need to do is to have data driven process about Nigerian youths that have attained voting age and bring them into the pool.

“We have platform at zonal, state and local government levels, we will engage them constructively. The youths need to come around to design a voting system so that every programme will go round and be given sense of belonging.

On the popularity of the Obidients’ movement, Dr. Nwoko said it’s not going to be a problem for his group to dislodge them, even as he added that many political watchers were taken by surprise the feat achieved by the candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi.

“Dislodging the Obidients’ movement is not a problem at all and they are not a threat. As part of the discussion we had before now and even while consulting widely with our key leaders and party leaders, it’s how to dislodge the Obidients’ movement. We had come to the conclusion that what happened in the 2023 presidential election will not happen again, we will ensure that we will not be taken by storm again”, he concluded.
