Alhaji Muhammadu Indimi, elder statesman, philanthropist, and business magnate, has announced plans to mobilise a new wave of private investment into Borno State.
Indimi made the pledge on Tuesday when Governor Babagana Umara Zulum led a high-level delegation to his residence in Maiduguri.
The visit was to express appreciation for his recent two-billion-naira donation to the University of Maiduguri.
During the meeting, Indimi revealed that he has been in discussions with several domestic and international investors who are now showing strong interest in exploring business opportunities in Borno.
“Your Excellency, I am deeply touched by this honour from Borno. Everything I do is because I love my state. You are doing a great job,” Indimi said.
