The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Yobe State has inaugurated a new caretaker committee, pledging to unite its members and secure victory in the 2027 general elections.
Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Mallushe, the Yobe State Chairman of the PDP’s Caretaker Committee, stated that the new leadership marks a fresh beginning for the party following recent legal victories.
He credited this success to divine will and the support of national leaders, including Barrister Nyesom Wike.
“My team and the people of Yobe State assure our national leaders, all NEC members, and supporters at every level of our unwavering commitment to strengthen the PDP for success in the 2027 general elections,” Mallushe said.
Speaking at the inauguration in Damaturu, Hon. Halilu Abubakar Mazagani, the committee’s Deputy Chairman and 2023 PDP Senatorial Candidate, extended gratitude to the party’s national leadership, specifically Barrister Nyesom Wike.
“Our mission here is first to thank the national leadership, and specifically our national leader, Barrister Nyesom Wike, for his support,” Mazagani stated.
“We also greet all PDP members from across Yobe who have come to witness this significant day.”
He directly assured Barrister Wike that the new state leadership, alongside the caretaker chairman, is dedicated to rebuilding the party’s structures in Yobe.
