Fortunately, years of peaceful co-existence and co-operation have proven that Nigerians can bond and co-exist together as one irrespective of the socio-cultural diversification. For Nigeria to achieve its full potential and wins heart of the citizens, every Nigerian must be positive-minded and collectively contribute towards the growth and development of the country.
Over the years, Nigeria as a country has witnessed challenges, set-backs and ups and downs in great numbers. Since its independence as a country, one could posit that it has recorded significant successes, developments and great achievements; this is evident.
However, it is apparent that Nigeria is not currently at the dreamed land and same time it is not at where it used to be. Considering Nigeria’s socio-cultural diversification, it is evident that Nigerians naturally have different beliefs, cultures, religions, values and norms. This is apparently a challenge to unification.
Fortunately, years of peaceful co-existence and co-operation have proven that Nigerians can bond and co-exist together as one irrespective of the socio-cultural diversification. For Nigeria to achieve its full potential and wins heart of the citizens, every Nigerian must be positive-minded and collectively contribute towards the growth and development of the country.
Every individual must be ready for greatness, assume responsibilities and be committed towards the country’s development. Progress will definitely be slow if a part of the country is contributing towards the development of the country while another part is contributing to its setback.
Definitely, success is achievable when efforts, commitment and dedication are positively utilized. Some neighboring African countries that have achieved amazing level of greatness should serve as inspiration for Nigerians. The series of challenges Nigeria is currently facing will all be things of the past and drastically minimized. This is possible when Nigerians shoulder responsibility of Nigeria’s development as personal tasks. Long live Nigeria.
