The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmen in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), have advised members of the party across the country to utilise the remaining 28-day window to register for the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
The Forum of APC State Chairmen led by the Lagos state Chairman, Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi, made the call in a communique issued at the end of its inaugural meeting in Abuja on Thursday.
The Chairmen were meeting for the first time since their election and re-election during the March congresses of the APC.
Addressing newsmen at the end of the meeting, the forum’s Chairman Ojelabi, congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his emergence as the presidential candidate of the APC for the 2027 general election.
“We encourage all members of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), to utilise the remaining 28-day window to register for the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs)”.
The Forum equally sympathized with the families and victims of insecurity across the nation and commended the efforts of the federal government in addressing the ugly development.
“The inaugural meeting of the Forum of State APC Chairmen was convened on 11th June 2026 at Valencia Hotel, Abuja. The meeting was attended by State Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from across the 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
“After extensive deliberations on party affairs and national issues, the Forum resolved as follows: Congratulates the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on his emergence as the candidate of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“Sympathises with the families and victims of insecurity across the nation and commends the efforts of the Presidents Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Congratulates the National Chairman and other members of the National Working Committee of our great party for the successful and peaceful conduct of the primaries. The Forum also congratulates all candidates who emerged across the 36 states and the FCT.
“Identifies with the Progressives Governors Forum for its continued support for Mr President and our dear party, the All Progressives Congress (APC)”, the party stated.
