Kaduna State has received a major vote of confidence from the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), with the Commission’s Chairman, Dr. Mohammed Bello Shehu, OFR, praising the state’s remarkable development strides and recognising it as one of Nigeria’s leading sub-national governments.

The commendation came during a high-level engagement with Governor Uba Sani at Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, Kaduna, where discussions focused on strengthening Nigeria’s fiscal architecture, enhancing revenue mobilisation and promoting a transparent, equitable and sustainable revenue allocation system.

Dr. Shehu reportedly applauded the Uba Sani administration for its achievements in security, infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, social inclusion and economic growth, describing Kaduna’s development trajectory as worthy of national recognition.

Governor Uba Sani, in his remarks, highlighted the impact of deliberate reforms, prudent financial management and sustained investments in human capital, noting that the administration’s focus remains on translating sound public finance into tangible improvements in the lives of citizens.

The governor said the Commission’s recognition would further strengthen his administration’s resolve to deepen reforms, consolidate fiscal resilience, improve service delivery and sustain the momentum of development across the state.

The visit also underscored the growing partnership between Kaduna State and the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission in advancing fiscal responsibility, boosting revenue generation and supporting national development objectives.
