The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has taken another step toward the 2027 Kano State governorship election after presenting its governorship nomination form to Alhaji Ibrahim ElAmin, popularly known as Ibrahim Little.
Ibrahim Little, a former Kano governorship candidate under the defunct All People’s Party (APP), disclosed the development in a post on his verified Facebook page on Monday.
According to him, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Governorship Nomination Form (EC-13B) was presented by the Acting Chairman of the ADC in Kano State, Dr. Umar Bala Kwalwa.
“By the grace of Allah, I have received the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Governorship Nomination Form (EC-13B) from the Acting Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kano State, Dr. Umar Bala Kwalwa,” he wrote.
He also prayed for divine guidance and success as the party intensifies preparations for the 2027 general elections.
The presentation comes after the ADC dissolved its Kano State Executive Committee and constituted a caretaker committee to address internal disputes ahead of the polls.
The party had previously stated that it would move to unveil its governorship candidate once its internal reorganization was completed.
