The unchallenged incessant killings and destruction of properties of innocent Nigerians by the members of the dreaded Boko Haram has made the Adamawa State Acting Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, to lose an uncle in his home town, Madagali while other aged persons managed to escape to Yola.

Pa Wazintu, 75, was killed in the presence of his wife and daughter by the dreaded Boko Haram who stormed his residence at midnight recently.

As at the time of filing this report, the residence of the acting governor was witnessing the trooping of sympathizers who were being hosted by the eldest son of the deceased, a Personal Assistant (PA) to the Acting Governor, Mr. Tanko Wazintu.

Mr. Tanko, who spoke in a mourning mood, said he got to know about the mother through his relations who are hiding in the mountainous hill of the area via mobile phone conversation.

“My sister and step mother were the ones that were forced to dig a hole to bury my father after being forced to sleep with his corpse for more than 72 hours”, he said.

Reports from the area has shown that the insurgents have been forcefully recruiting youths, as some of the innocent citizens rave continued to regret their recruitment as militants by Boko Haram Islamist group.

One of such, Mr. Onyebuchi Romanus, who though forcefully recruited as the members of the dreaded Boko Haram, wittingly escaped by the whiskers in Adamawa state.

The 34 year-old, was forcefully recruited in May this year, after he lost means of his livehood in a bomb blast that rocked Jos, the capital of Plateau state.

Oyebuchi, who hailed from Ekwusigo local government in Anambra state claimed that it was prayer of Nigerians that set him free from the hands of his abductors, considering the threat mounted on him by Boko Haram when realise that he was not interested in their membership.

He said his abductors introduced themselves to be members of the Boko Haram and was asked to join them or be killed, in which he agreed and later escaped in their training camp close to Madagali local government area of Adamawa state.

“I accepted to join the Boko Haram team to save my life; my religion and upbringing forbid me killing fellow human being”, he narrated.
