Fufeyin’s past prophecies resurface, trigger debate on social Media

Date:

A video compilation of prophetic declarations attributed to Senior Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin has triggered widespread reactions across social media, with supporters praising what they describe as his “deep” and “impressive” prophetic ministry after the clip revisited his comments on Zambia’s election, Nigeria’s 2019 election postponement and political defections involving the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The video, which has gained traction on multiple social media platforms, interweaves archival recordings of the cleric with interview excerpts and narration arguing that several of his past prophecies were later fulfilled.

Among the claims highlighted in the video is a prophecy concerning Zambia’s election, in which Fufeyin was quoted as suggesting that the first election result people heard would not be the final outcome. The compilation also features a media interview in which he was asked how he received what he described as a vision about events outside Nigeria.

The video further revisits his remarks ahead of Nigeria’s 2019 presidential election, where he was recorded saying the election scheduled for February 16 would be shifted to another date. It then references the Independent National Electoral Commission’s decision to postpone the poll on February 16, 2019.

Another segment focuses on an earlier statement in which the cleric said he foresaw members of the PDP moving to the APC over time. The video accompanies that claim with footage of politicians making political declarations and a narration that links those developments to his earlier comments.

The compilation also ventures into sports, replaying recordings in which Fufeyin spoke about football matches, including Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations final against Côte d’Ivoire and a Spain-Argentina encounter, while presenting those remarks as evidence of fulfilled predictions.

The circulating video concludes with an appeal urging Nigeria’s leaders to seek what it describes as prophetic guidance ahead of the 2027 general election.

Supporters flood comments with praise

Beyond the video’s claims, much of the online conversation has centred on the reactions of supporters, many of whom described the messages as spiritually impactful and thought-provoking.

Instagram user black_is_bea_uty wrote, “There is definitely something special about Prophet Jeremiah’s ministry. This man keeps bringing powerful messages.”

Another user, bizplusblog, said the cleric “deserves more recognition for this.”

Several commenters praised Fufeyin’s delivery style.

Similarly, opes_artistry said the cleric spoke “with so much conviction,” describing the message as “deep.”

Others focused on the reflective nature of the content.

The viral reactions underscore how prophetic messages continue to generate significant engagement on social media, where supporters frequently revisit earlier statements by religious figures and debate whether subsequent events align with those declarations.
