The Director-General of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC-PCC), Abdulaziz Yari, has expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu will secure re-election in 2027, saying the same God who gave him victory in 2023 will do it again.

Yari made the declaration while speaking with journalists in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, where he joined Tinubu and other Nigerians to perform the lesser Hajj (Umrah).

His remarks followed Tinubu’s statement during a media chat in Saudi Arabia on Friday, in which the President expressed confidence in God for a second term in office.

The former Zamfara State governor said Tinubu’s reliance on Allah, coupled with his administration’s achievements, would be instrumental to his re-election bid.

He also commended the President for praying for Nigeria and its citizens, describing the gesture as a demonstration of responsible leadership.

“That’s what makes a leader. He first prayed for the country, prayed for every Nigerian, and noted that God selects leaders.

“God did it in 2023, He will do it again. Tinubu depends on Allah to do it for him as He did in 2023,” Yari stated.
