2015 Senate: Kumo submits form, promises transformation

Member representing Akko Local Government Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Usman Bello Kumo, yesterday submitted its nomination form with a view to contest for senatorial seat in 2015 general elections.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after he submitted his nomination form yesterday at the PDP secretariat in Gombe, the lawmaker assured the people in the area that his intension to contest for Gombe Central Senatorial seat in the forth coming general election was to enable the

people have sense of belonging in the society.

He disclosed that his administration would ensure that people in the area benefit from dividend of democracy, even as he called on them not to relent in voting for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which he said would be the only party to beat in 2015 general elections.

According to him, the mandate given to him from his people in the area has already assured his victory at the poll, noting that PDP, which is the ruling party in the country, would still retain its senatorial seat at the National Assembly in 2015.

The lawmaker also affirmed that there would be no hidden place for the opposition party in the forth coming general elections, adding that modalities have been put in place to ensure that PDP would sweep all elective positions in 2015.

Speaking earlier, the Chief of Staff of Government House, Alhaji Alhamed Yayari, however commended the aspirant for his foresight to contest for senatorial seat and called on the people in the area to, as matter of urgency, to come out en-mass and support the aspirant during the elections.

Also speaking, the chairman of PDP in Gombe state, Baba Sabulu, thanked both the aspirant and the electorates for contributing immensely towards the development of the party, which according to him; arrangement has been concluded to stop the opposition from getting access in 2015 elections.
