Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members from Tattara/Kodoro ward in Panda development area of Karu local government area of Nasarawa State have resolved to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC) for what they described as poor representation by the House of assembly member representing Gittata /Karu constituency, Babawi Chetubo (PDP). .
The PDP supporters made their decision known in an interview with Peoples Daily yesterday when the assembly member visited Tattara town canvassing for re-election in the forth coming polls.
Spokesman of the group, Mr.Kulow Deiy Jagali said that the decision became imperative following the total neglect of the area by the House member since he was elected into the office in 2011.
His words:” Imagine he promised to provide boreholes to our communities , grade Agwan Ayaba/Jagali, Rafin Sanyi/Dutse Gogo and Tudun Wada Mada/Jamage roads but since we voted him he has never even paid a thank-you visit to the area, except now that time has come for election. We are tired of the PDP member (Babawi) representing us, we vowed to go for a party that is promising and that is APC because we have seen practically on ground in just few years.
Mr Kulow called on the entire people from the ward to massively vote for the APC aspirant for a better change and quality representation, addingthat Babawi is a failure and should not be trusted as according to him, he succeeded in bribing delegates with huge sums of money that brought him as a winner during the recent PDP primary but this time he will be shown the way out.
