ebbi state government has yesterday signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Air Peace airline on the domestic flight at the newly constructed Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport.
Singing the MOU yesterday at the airport, the Kebbi state governor, Alhaji Sa’idu Usman Dakingari said that the importance of the domestic flight is to invite the investor and promote the economics of the state.
He explained that the airport which was upgraded to international airport commenced the service by air lifting the pilgrims to the holy land this year adding that the services would not only be made for the international flight, rather there should be way of improving the economics of the state by commencing the domestic service.
Responding, the Chairman/CEO of the airline, Allen Onyema assured the people of Kebbi on the safety and long services of the airline.
He pointed out that his airline has been maintained by the US in order to avoid any crash, ensure good service to the people, ‘’I paid my staff salary every end of the month, I don’t’ delay their payments, some people running the airline business don’t pay their service that is why some people can connive and create problems’’ he lamented.
He then thanked the Kebbi state government for patronizing his company and assured him of good service.
