Church vows to resist fraudulent leaders, pastors

The Assemblies of God Church Kaduna district has vowed to ex- communicate all fraudulent pastors and leaders who are trying to bring the church to ridicule.

This even as the district appointed a 7-man caretaker committee at the Kaduna district to oversee the affairs of the church in the state The appointment of the caretaker committee comes after the ex-communication of the General Superintendent of the Church in Nigeria, Dr. Paul Emeka and other members.

A member of the Executive Committee of the Assemblies of God Church, Reverend (Dr.) Johnson Odii who announced the names of the committee members said the church will resist 419 leaders and persons with fraudulent act as pastors and leaders.

He called on the church members to support and rally round the caretaker committee to ensure that sanity and orderliness is restored in the church.

The appointed caretaker committee are, however, expected to oversee the affairs of the church until sanity, godliness, discipline as well as law and order is restored in the Kaduna District of the church.

The 7-man caretaker committee out of which three rejected the appointment has Rev. Daniel Kasuwa as it Chairman, Rev. Paul Adim, Secretary, Rev. Solomon Kasuwa, Treasurer and Rev. Kingsley Aaron as member.

It would be recalled that the pastor and others were ex-communicated for fraudulent act and breach of constitution guiding the church. The Church has also ordered the immediate hand over of properties and belongings of church in the possession of the persons to the Deacons.
