The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Gwagwalada Branch—popularly known as the “Eagle Bar”—has elected a new executive committee to pilot the affairs of the association for the next two years.
The election, which took place in Gwagwalada, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), saw Barr. Nurudin D. Abdulsalami emerge as the new Chairman of the branch.
Other key executives elected to the board include Barr. Eze Friday Osinachi as Secretary, Barr. Sherifatu Usman as Treasurer, and Barr. Yusuf J. Jibril, who takes over as the new Publicity Secretary.
Speaking shortly after the election, the newly minted Chairman, Barr. Abdulsalami, pledged his unwavering commitment to maintaining absolute unity among members of the bar throughout his tenure.
He expressed deep gratitude to his colleagues for their overwhelming support and urged all members to actively contribute to the growth and development of the branch.
“I will provide purposeful leadership capable of satisfying the yearnings and aspirations of all lawyers in Gwagwalada and beyond,” Abdulsalami promised.
Corroborating the Chairman’s vision, the newly elected Secretary, Barr. Eze Friday Osinachi, assured members that the new leadership would operate with a unified purpose, working hand-in-hand to elevate the standards of the legal profession in the area council.
