Governor Uba Sani’s decision to meet with the Minister of Works, Engr. David Umahi, to expedite the completion of the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano expressway has been praised as an example of hands-on, people-centered leadership.
In a statement released by the Kaduna State Chairman of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), Hon. Adamu Zubairu Jalaludeen, the association expressed its appreciation for the Governor’s initiative.
Hon. Jalaludeen, who also serves as the North West Vice President of the association, highlighted the significance of the expressway as a key access route to both the North West and North East geopolitical zones.
He emphasized that Governor Uba Sani’s proactive meeting with the Minister of Works concerning the Abuja-Kaduna expressway has earned him the support of all stakeholders within the transport sector. Both transport owners and employees are reportedly optimistic about the prompt completion of the road project due to the Governor’s intervention.
