The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has reacted to the news of the demise of Ghali Umar Na-Abba, a frontline politician and former Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) who died on the 27th of December, 2023.
ACF expressed their sadness via a condolence message contained in a press release signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Prof. T. A. Muhammad-Baba.
According to the statement, the Late Rt. Honourable Na-Abba had immensely contributed to the defence of democracy, participatory governance, and political development when he served as Speaker of, the House of Representatives (HoR).
He noted that, the late Rt. Honorable will be best remembered for his stance against executive meddlesomeness in the workings and affairs of the HoR and the National Assembly in general.
