The National Chairman of the Action Alliance (AA), Aare (Dr) Adekunle Rufai Omoaje, has warmly congratulated Christians across Nigeria on this year’s Easter celebration. In a statement issued on Sunday,

Omoaje encouraged Christians to follow the selfless love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ in their daily lives, aiming to positively impact their communities and the nation.

The influential politician reminded Christians of Jesus Christ’s great sacrifice for humanity’s salvation and urged Nigerians to follow his example.

“The sacrifice of Jesus is a huge one, and it has had a lasting impact on the world,” Omoaje said. “As Christians, we are called to emulate his selfless love and sacrifice, making a positive difference in our communities and country.”

Omoaje specifically called on Nigerians to make sacrifices for their country’s development, just as Jesus did for the world.

“The sacrifices we make today will pay off in the future,” he stated. “Let us aim to create a positive impact and work toward building a better Nigeria for our children and grandchildren.”

The Action Alliance leader also urged Nigerian leaders to devote their time, resources, and wealth to the country’s progress so that future generations can benefit.

“We need leaders who are willing to put the needs of the country above their own interests,” Omoaje said. “Let us work together to build a Nigeria that is just, equitable, and prosperous for all.”

As Christians celebrate Jesus Christ’s resurrection, Omoaje called on them to use this occasion to seek God’s intervention in Nigeria’s challenges. “Let us pray for peace, stability, and prosperity in Nigeria,” he said.

“Let us ask God to guide our leaders and give them the wisdom to make decisions that will benefit the nation.”

Omoaje’s Easter message has been well received by many Nigerians, who hope for a better future for their country.

As the nation faces numerous issues, including insecurity, economic difficulties, and governance challenges, the call to follow Jesus’ selfless love and sacrifice reminds everyone of the importance of putting others first.
