An activist, Hon. Dan Atayi has hailed the deputy Chairman on Information in the House of Representative Hon. Philip Agbese as a true ‘Patriotic Democrat’.
Atayi, a.member of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP who has been appointed Senior Legislative Adviser on Civil Society Matters stated this while receiving his appointment letter from the House of Representatives Member for Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency.
According to him, “We have gotten a Patriotic Democrat who doesn’t see democracy as partisan affairs, nor a game for the majority, but for the people… I’m amaze that despite the ugly past and cross-fire of campaigns of calumny, Okanga forgave and showed me a better path of living… I can’t express my joy, but am truly grateful and shall treasure this for life as we have found a new Leader that despises political vindictiveness and bitterness” he said.
Chief Philip Agbese said leadership at this level is for all his constituents including those who worked against him during the 2023 general election and those in other political parties.
