The Speaker of the Adamawa State House of assembly,Rt.Hon Aminu Iya Abbas has expressed commitment of the Assembly to ensure speedy passage of the child protection bill.
Abbas gave the hint at a public hearing on child protection bill in Yola yesterday, saying that the move becomes imperative in view of the fact that Adamawa is one of the six states that are yet to sign the bill into law.
He said it is imperative to hold the public hearing so as to smoothen some rough edges and to carry all stakeholders along.
