Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has approved the constitution of the Governing Council of Adamawa State University Mubi(ADSU). .
Members of the Council as approved by the Governor includes; Barrister Auwal D.Tukur as Chairman, Mr Zira Maigadi, Alhaji Kassim Njidda,Mrs Mary sawa and Alhaji Zubairu Gabdo Toungo.
Others are one representative each from Ministries of Justice and that of Higher Education.
This was disclosed in a press statement signed and issued yesterday by the Director General Media and Communications to the Governor,Comrade Solomon Kumangar.
He stressed that, the appointments are with immediate effect.
In a related development, the state government has approved scholarship opportunities to sixty students from the state to study professional courses in an Indian university.
