Adamawa: OXFAM, stakeholders advocate for gender equality, women inclusion in governance

Some International Non governmental organizations ; Oxfam in conjunction with CRUDAN and GIZ  have joined other stakeholders in advocating for gender equality and women inclusion in the scheme of things in both public and private space.

This was part of the crucial resolutions reached at the 2025 International Women’s day celebration held by stakeholders in Guyuk local government area of Adamawa state at the weekend.

It focused majorly on women economic empowerment, barriers and opportunities.

The occasion with the theme; ” For all women and Girls; Rights, equality, empowerment” was graced by invited  policy makers,rural women groups, security agencies, government officials, traditional rulers, media and local civil society organizations.

Stakeholders unanimously applauded the growing impact of gender-focused initiatives anchored by Oxfam and its partners in the zone.
