Adamawa Police parades 32 armed robbery suspects

The Adamawa state Police Command has apprehended Thirty Two (32) criminal suspects for alleged kidnapping and armed robbery offenses across the state.
Parading the suspects in Yola Tuesday,commissioner of Police Olugbenga Adeyanju said that his command’s anti kidnapping Unit in their relentless effort and sacrifices with support from good people plus government made this laudable achievement.
Adeyanju said from November to date,the command arrested 32 suspects for kidnapping activities,5 Armed robberies and car theft.
“A total of Nine (9) vehicles,Nine (9) Ak 47 Rifles with 664 rounds of live ammunitions,lave also been recovered .
“The suspects were apprehended in. Various places across the state haven been suspected to be those responsible for kidnapping activities in both Adamawaand Taraba state”. Adeyanju added
Commissioner Adeyanju explained that among the suspects is one Hamadu Umaru 37 years old of Wuro-Patuji whose his syndicate are at large used the proceeds realized from ransoms of their victims to established car selling mall.
He stated that nine cars were recovered from him and is helping police with useful information urging the public to come forward and assist the security agents.
Our correspondent reports that the command acknowledged the contributions of some members of public including professional hunters and vigilante group in the state.
