The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has stepped up preparations for the forthcoming Ekiti State governorship election with the inauguration of a campaign committee charged with driving its electoral strategy across the state.
The party announced the development in a statement posted on its verified X handle, describing the committee as a key component of its efforts to strengthen grassroots engagement and expand support ahead of the poll.
According to the ADC, the committee will coordinate campaign operations, mobilise party supporters, engage stakeholders and ensure that the party’s message reaches communities across the state.
The move signals the party’s determination to mount a vigorous challenge in the election and position itself as an alternative platform for voters seeking a different approach to governance.
ADC expressed confidence in the ability of the committee members to deliver on their mandate, citing their commitment and capacity to advance the party’s objectives during the campaign period.
The party reiterated its resolve to provide what it described as credible leadership and responsible governance for the people of Ekiti State, stressing that the campaign would focus on presenting its vision for the state’s future.
While congratulating the newly appointed members, the ADC urged them to work collectively toward building momentum for the party ahead of the governorship contest.
