Senate Minority Whip, Senator Philip Aduda has called on privileged Nigerians to care more for the orphanage children and other vulnerable people in the society for us to have better country.
Aduda stated this when members of his family visited Karu Orphanage Home Abuja in commemoration of his Mother Six Memorial Remembrance Mrs. Jummai Aduda that died six years ago.
“ It is our responsibility to carter for those in need because this is what our mother did to many orphanage here in Abuja and beyond, She was known for this that is why we the children has to continue with what she started,” Aduad said.
A cash donation for some of the orphanage school fee and food items were presented to the administrator of the Home, Mrs Hannatu Atar on behalf of the children by Aduda’s family.
However, Mrs Atar thanked Aduda family for the kind gesture.
Earlier at the memorial service, the officiating pastor, ECWA Church Karu, Rev. Abraham Bechegbe admonish Christians to emulate the good work and selfless service of Mama Aduda.
