AEPB urged to release ceased goods in Aco estate

A businessman based in Aco estate in Abuja Municipal Area council (AMAC) of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr. Richard T. Madubuike, has urged the Abuja Environmental and Protection Board (AEPB) Lugbe branch to release the ceased goods took away from his business stand in the area.
Madubuike said the operation of AEPB task force lugbe branch was led by one Mr. Bawa to Aco Estate In February, 2024, pointing out that Lugbe AEPB task force was fond of carrying out illegal operation in Aco Estate.
Madubuike who spoke to newsmen in Aco Estate on Saturday, saying that no notice was given to him by the task force before his goods were parked from the shop.
He disclosed that some of the goods parked by Lugbe AEPB taskforce are : Mobil oil (4 Cartor), Amasco Oil (One liter, 2 carton), Total Oil (5liter, 3 carton), Total classic oil (4 litre, 4 carton), see max (4 litre, 4Carton) and see max (1litre, 2 carton).
Other goods include: Allied greased (1 Carton), Jezco oil (4Litre, 2 Carton), Jezco oil (1 litre, 2 cartor), Brek pad (1 full bag) mobil (5litre, 3 cartoon), Mobil (4 litre, 5 carton), Oil filter (4 Rollers), Jezco ATF (2 Carton) and AB Gum (Big and Small) 3 Carton.
Madubuike therefore, expressed with dismay that he was the only one AEPB task force went away with his goods to Area 3, Abuja.
He said: “The AEPB task force only released a few of his goods to him in Area 3 with the help of one Deputy Director, Mr. Bulus, and that up till now some of my goods are not given to me”
A resident in Aco Estate, Mr. Peter Innocent, who reacted to the development, alleged that the taskforce officers of AEPB Lugbe branch are using Intimidation and aggressive tactics to extort money from the traders during their operation, and called on the FCT Minister, Barr, Nyesom Wike to intervene into the matter.
