Africa Climate Forum (ACF), has disclosed that all is now set for the forum to hold in Abuja on 13 and 14 of October 2026.
The forum will be focusing on turning the continent’s climate commitments into measurable results.

“Climate action requires more than ambition. It requires governments, businesses and financial institutions to move together.
“We have an opportunity to refine our partnerships, forge new ones, and make bold commitments that can translate into meaningful action,” Nwangwu said.
He emphasized that the two-day event will bring together policymakers, business leaders, climate experts, development institutions, academics and investors from Africa and beyond to address gaps in climate coordination, financing and implementation.

The programme will also feature a Pulitzer Centre side event on Journalism, Climate Action and Civic Space Engagement, examining how public-interest journalism can strengthen climate accountability, improve public understanding and amplify the experiences of affected communities.
The Abuja forum follows climate conversations held in Accra earlier in the year on climate partnerships, finance, the just transition and public-private collaboration.
