The stage is set for the 2025 edition of the Afrique Mommies Award (AMA), one of the most celebrated platforms honouring excellence across culture, service and humanity.
The event will take place on 31 October at the Park 8 Event Centre in Sam Houston, Texas, organisers confirmed.
In a statement signed by its media director, Emmanuel Olorunmagba, the AMA was described as more than an award ceremony, but a cultural movement uniting leaders, creatives and changemakers.
This year’s edition will feature four major highlight awards. They include the Mother Award, celebrating strength and sacrifice; the City People Award, recognising excellence in community and professional life; the Celebrity Award, dedicated to entertainers and public figures who inspire; and the Humanitarian Award, spotlighting acts of service and compassion.
The ceremony is organised by the Akinloye Laide Foundation, with a mission to celebrate impact and community spirit worldwide.
Organisers say the AMA has grown into a global stage where voices that shape society are recognised and amplified.
For many, the awards have become a meeting point for inspiration, entertainment and empowerment.
As the countdown begins, anticipation is building for what is expected to be a night of recognition and cultural pride.
