Ag Gombe Varsity VC mulls plan to build-up academic standard

The Ag Vice-chancellor of Gombe state university, Prof. Sani Ahmed Yauta has recount achievements successes, with a plan to build-up the academic standard in the institution.
He said education is a continue process that won’t be shy away and academics is also a process of giving both the students and lecturers levelled playing ground to strive.
Yauta made the with Peoplesdaily in his office on Thursday, saying that the educational standard of Gombe state university most be sustained.
He said bringing the carrier standard of the university is everybody business that warrant all hands on deck to succeed.
He said: “We can never succeed with this achievements unless we speak with one voice to actualized our dream.”
According to him, the emergence of Gombe state university in 2004 has gone along way where it’s has graduated graduation of repute to serve not only Gombe state, but also the entire nation to showcase their talents they acquired during their studies programmes in the institution.
While emphasizing satisfaction, he said the recent remittance of backlog of arrears and other claims by the Academic staff union of Gombe state university (ASUU) which government did not hesitate to listen to their demand and made it possible to entertain their plight has given both ASUU and students happiness for the mutual coexistence between the government and Gombe state university.
He assured that everything in the institution is set for the resumption of students to continue with their studies, as you can see I have gone round the school ensure that all the facilities within the school is intact before students resumption fully.
“I have checked all students hostels, lecture theatres and iam happy to said that the commencement of the studies in the school is paramount”, the VC confirmed.
