Alia’s Aide condemns utterances of Benue NASS members

Senior Special Assistant to Governor Hyacinth Alia on Youth Mobilization and Empowerment Hon. Moses Mkeenem has condemned in strong terms actions and utterances of Benue State National Assembly Caucus against the Governor.
It would be noted that the Benue legislators led by Minority Leader of the Senate Sen. Abba Moro during a recent press conference in Abuja, accused the Governor of being indifferent to the security situation in the State, alleging that he does not account for 30 billion security votes that has accrued to him.
Hon. Mkeenem lamented over the manner the NASS members are politicizing the unfortunate insecurity bedevilling the State.
He made the lamentation at a press conference in Makurdi at the weekend.
The aide reminded security agencies to charge those politicizing the insecurity in Benue State for treason, stressing, “this is no doubt a pure treason.
“We conscientize Benue people to know their enemies, their federal lawmakers are their enemies and they have not hidden it anytime. On no account should Benue people allow their National Assembly Representatives, some with just little or no single projects in their various constituencies to parade themselves on National TV Stations with derogatory and anti-people information at the detriment of the lives and future of Benue youths such a nefarious behavior has not portrayed the interest and image of the common Benue people but their personal political interests. Evil as anything self remains evil.
“The lives of every Benue youth matters, same as others hence we cannot seal up our lips and allow anybody politicize the security of our state.”
