AMAC: Maikalangu championing reintegration,instead of resettlement – official

The Head of Works and Housing Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Arch. Andrew Gaza, has revealed that Chairman of the Council, Hon. Christopher Maikalangu championing reintegration, instead of resettlement though the execution of critical projects.
Gaza said the current AMAC leadership is making things easier for people by upgrading their respective communities thereby encouraging to remain where they are, and contribute their quota to the society.
He made the assertion during ground breaking of rehabilitation of Karmo Tsoho township road.
According to him, all the projects being embarked by Maikalangu qs the executive chairman of AMAC will propel rapid and inclusive economic development across the Council.
He said: “Maikalangu is a man of wisdom. He is championing reintegration, instead of resettlement. He is executing different projects to tell people to remain where they are. He is making things easier for people and upgrading communities.
“All thee projects being embarked by the Executive Chairman will be tantamount to economic development in the communities.
“This is another fulfillment of the promises made by the chairman during the campaign period. meaning that the chairman can come back tomorrow for more projects.
We have always pleaded with communities to support the chairman to do more.”
