Anniversary: Gov. Sule flags off free medical services

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State on Tuesday flagged off free medical outreach to the vulnerable and less privileged in the state as part of activities to commemorate his second year in office.
He also presented cards to people from Doma LGA to enroll into the Nasarawa State Health Insurance Scheme (NSHIS) an initiative to provide affordable and cheap healthcare services.
Contributing at the event, the Commissioner of Health Mr Ahmed Yahaya added that the free medical services initiative was targeted at providing health services including surgery to the less privileged in the society.
Mr Ahmed Yahaya maintained that the services was going on simultaneously across the 13 LGAs of the state.
He further stressed that Medical Doctors, Pharmacist, Nurses, Medical Lab Scientists among others medical personnel were deployed to ensure the success of the exercise.
