APC National Chair: Group drums support for Oshiomhole

The aspiration of former Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole to clinch the coveted position of the National Chairmanship of ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) got a boost yesterday with the an interest group, National Harvest-Time Coalition (NHTC) throwing its weight behind him the former labour leader.
The group noted that Oshiomhole has all it takes to deliver the party from its present state being an astute administrator.
This was made known in Abuja yesterday in a press statement released by the group and signed by its National Coordinator, Mr. Ayanfe Somoye.
According to the statement, “NHTC believes that APC’s 2015 “Change” slogan massively attracted Nigerians to PMB and the APC, in the belief that it implies the urgent curbing of corruption in Nigeria as the template for running a healthy, viable and modern national economy. NHTC believes that APC owes all Nigerians a most urgent moral obligation, ahead of 2019, to quickly put its house in order and patriotically attend to the obligation and promise of “Change”.
“NHTC believes that the proper reordering of the APC, through the Party’s forthcoming May 14th National Congress will urgently translate to positive national socioeconomic development.
“Based on our above-stated beliefs, the NHTC hereby wishes to categorically state its conviction that the next National Chairman of the APC should be a person with utmost capacity to properly reorder the Party away from endless internal power struggles to committed and patriotic governance.
“NHTC holds that out of all those who are being rumoured or mentioned as possible contestants for APC National Chairmanship at the forthcoming APC National Congress, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, the former Governor of Edo State of Nigeria, stands-out morally, intellectually, experientially and in terms of personal human capacity” the statement read in part.
The group hereby encouraged all APC stakeholders to patriotically move beyond their internal sub-partisan interests and support Oshiomhole to make him the next National Chairman of the APC.
They also called on all APC youth and women stakeholders to zealously take-up the urgent patriotic national duty of seating Oshiomhole as the next National Chairman of the APC saying that Oshiomhole is APC’s best chance for Redemption.
