The Governorship candidate of Social Democratic Party,PDP, in the 2023 elections,Dr Umar Ardo has vowed to appeal the ruling of the Court of Appeal Abuja Division dismissing his earlier appeal challenging the election of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as Governor in Adamawa state.
Dr.Ardo made his position public via his verified X handle.
He personally wrote on Tuesday, expressing his dissatisfaction with the reasons advanced in Appeal court judgement.
“Having attentively listened the judgment of the learned justices of the Court of Appeal recently dismissing my appeal, I am satisfied that my further appeal at the Supreme Court has been given brighter chances of success as many of the rubbishes made by the tribunal have been upturned and resolved in my favor.
“Except the ignorants, the learned lawyers of my opponents wouldn’t be rejoicing on the judgment. I am sure they’re braising up for a cross-appeal themselves. See you all at the Supreme Court upper week”.
