Member of the House of Representatives, Herman Hembe yesterday emerged the All Progressives Congress (APC), flag bearer for Vandeikya/Konshisha Federal Constituency.
Hembe polled 280 votes to defeat Mrs. Dorathy Mato who scored 196 votes.
The primaries which was inconclusive as a result of crisis, was held in Makurdi under very tight security.
Herman is eying a third term at the lower chambers of the National Assembly.
